Hello Crafters,
This is my second design project for Pootlers Stampin Up Design Team, I used Crumb Cake A4 cardstock to make the base of the card,  the layering is Subtles designer series 12x12 pack, I used the dotted page So Saffron........The topper I used the Butterfly Basics stamp set and stamped with  Versomark ink, and used clear embossing powder, I coloured the flowers with So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz inks, I also stamped the butterfly from the set and  the happy birthday, using dimensional's to add them to the base card......the ribbon was from my stash and I finished of the card using some Wink of Stella, I also stamped the butterfly on the inside of the card to make the overall finish..............I hope you like x

 

 

Hi All ,I was chosen by the lovely Sam Hammond to be part of Pootler's Design Team for Stamping up ,I feel very honoured as I have only been with the team a short while.
Sam sent me the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set to make 4 projects for the month of May, one for  each week, here is my first project a Birthday card ............
I made a background using Pear Pizzaz  and some of the stamps. I also used this to ink the frame and edges, The mat layer I used  Subtles Designer Pad matching paper..........the flower I coloured with Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz  stamping inks ....punched the butterflys and added some Jewels Basics (shows how sparkly they are it is my  image in red jumper on gems )

Had  great day with my friends at a crafty crop yesterday just wanted to add a couple things I have made for Handy Hippos (link on right for the store) .....I made these with G45 Jungle Safari papers and embellishments .....the Lion is paper Mache, available from the store along with other animals and shapes........the first is a Exploding box made like a cage  ....the second I made a shadow box

Well hopefully you are now looking at my new posts,
I have had this blog for a long while, but it has laid dormant for such a long time, after designing  a blog page for a friend, it has renewed my interest in blogging again,

well a long time since I actually blogged but I have decided it is time I did, a lot has happened over the last few months ....I am pleased to tell you I was asked if I would like to be on the design team for handyhippo crafts the website is http://www.handyhippo.co.uk/  ..I was delighted they thought I was good enough and of course accepted ........... I have already done a couple projects and I did YT videos of them but I decided I need to blog them as well so I will be adding my projects to here as well ..............Now to my next news I am going to do a challenge on this blog and I am hoping I get a good response, I will be announcing this in the next few days so if you are reading this please come back and take a look for now my friends have a great Sunday x x

 

This a sewing box I have altered made from a letter rack I purchased from Fernli designs.com, it also includes a needle case, I hand stitched to put in the drawer to hold needles and pins ,

I made the lace holders to place where the letters should be .....I like the way this turned out and will be altering another one soon thanks for looking
