Quite a while since my last post hope you all had a great Christmas,hers hoping 2013 will be a good year for you all,
The following project i made after seeing it as a challenge on a site i have just joined called myscraproom ....although i cant join the challenge as a newbie i had some stamps on a magazine and was making a friend a birthday card so decided to make her this for her sewing room wall instead,
i coverd some card cut from a ceareal box covered both sides with some patttered paper then cut in to strips made the circles and mounted them on more card covered one side with paper (from a kaisercraft pad called " timeless classics" )cut out the circles again and stuck together to make the nine rings then continued to add things to do with sewing made some material bales,put ribbon on some wooden reels from Tim Holtz made a lace flower and some others from another Tim Holtz die, used some free stamps from a magazine and some i had already to make the dress form and bodice ,i used antigue paper distress ink (also Tim Holtz) and here is the result hope you like

Hi Jakki, I found you at last! what a pretty blog you have too, so feminine! What a beautiful project, I bet your friend was thrilled, sounds like so much work was involved! Happy 2013,
